What happens on the day

We understand that some women may be anxious about visiting a bpas clinic. It might help to look through these sections before you arrive so you know what to expect.

We are happy for you to bring someone with you. If you are going to have a procedure where you are "asleep" or under sedation it is advisable to have someone with you to take you home. Space is a little limited though so please make sure it is only one person.

Nearly all abortion treatments are now carried out on a day-care basis which means an overnight stay is not necessary.
