All clinical staff responsible for client care, whether they are doctors or nurses, will have received thorough training and will therefore provide a high standard of professional care that not only meets but exceeds national guidelines. Counselling staff are also professionally trained to high standards.

bpas is a national charity and is the largest provider of specialist abortion services in the UK, many of them provided in partnership with the NHS 

As you would expect, bpas prides itself on providing a supportive and friendly environment to staff as well as clients. This extends to day to day support, particularly a thorough induction upon commencing employment, and through our strong employee communications programme and taking a consultative approach to change.

All of our staff have access to relevant training and development opportunities; provided through a comprehensive internal training programme as well as some externally provided opportunities, with the emphasis being on Continuing Professional Development (CPD). bpas has achieved the Investors in People standard, a national standard that sets a level of good practice for improving an organisations progress through its people with better planning, implementation and evaluation of learning and development programmes.
 
We are able to offer flexible and sociable shifts, both full time and part time, as well as opportunities for people to join our bank of casual workers.
