Abortion treatments
Your treatment options will depend on how many weeks the pregnancy is, your medical suitability and your personal choice.
BPAS provides medical or surgical abortion treatments from multiple locations and abortion pill treatment at home.
All of the medical assessments and consultations will be done by telephone and most women won’t have to attend a clinic (for gestations up to 10 weeks).
The abortion pill by post
This service is a safe and legal way to end a pregnancy at an early gestation without needing to attend a clinic for treatment.
Contact BPAS to book a telephone consultation and full medical assessment with a trained nurse or midwife who will assess your suitability for treatment. If treatment is suitable and safe, you will receive abortion pills by post a few days later.

The nurse that did my consultation was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. I could ask as many questions as I wanted and even asked her to repeat some information and was never made to feel rushed. I was often reminded that the aftercare team were available to me at any time if I needed them. I also liked that a video on how to carry out the treatment at home was available online, this was very helpful.
