Your opinion counts
Everyone BPAS treats is asked to complete a client satisfaction survey form to score aspects of our service, and suggest how we could improve our services. Here are the results from our April 2022 to March 2023 surveys:
Women - 14,612 women rated overall satisfaction with their care at 9.43 out of 10
98% of women reported that they were either 'extremely likely' or 'likely' to recommend us to friends and family if they needed similar treatment.
Over 90% of female surveyed clients agreed that:
- during the initial call - the advisor was supportive
- the clinician was supportive and understanding
- they received clear explanations about treatment and were given enough time for questions or concerns to be addressed
- they felt involved in decisions about their treatment
Men - 122 men rated their overall satisfaction with their care at 9.45 out of 10
98% of men reported that they were either 'extremely likely' or 'likely' to recommend us to friends and family if they needed similar treatment.
Over 90% of Male surveyed clients reported they were satisfied with:
- Staff who cared for them
- Advice received
- clear explanations about treatment

In December 2020, the Interim Ockenden Report was published, which set out seven immediate and essential actions (IEAs) for NHS trust maternity services under 7 key themes. The final report was published on the 30th of March 2022 and identified 15 actions in total.
